James “Jim” Rose is a highly motivated professional polygraph examiner who has an extensive, diverse background in polygraph and statement analysis. Jim graduated from the Canadian Police College (Ottawa, ON) Polygraph Examiner’s Course in 2013 and is also a graduate of PEAK Credibility Assessment Training Centre (Cape Coral, Florida), Advanced Polygraph Examiners Course. Having been trained alongside colleagues from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations and U.S. Marshalls Office, Jim has also studied Advanced Criminal Interview and Interrogation Techniques with the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy (Chantilly, VA).

Retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces in 2017 as the Senior Polygraph Examiner, one of the highlights of Jim’s career was training and teaching the Ukrainian Military Law Enforcement Service on Investigative Interviewing Techniques and Introduction to Polygraph.

Jim continues to work full-time as an examiner in the public sector. He has extensive experience conducting a variety of truth verification (polygraph) examinations related to pre-employment screening, infidelity, and criminal investigations. Jim is the recipient of the Canadian Armed Forces Chief of Defence Staff Commendation (2014) for his role and leadership as the Lead Investigator of a Multi-Jurisdictional Major Case Management Criminal Investigation involving multiple national and international law enforcement agencies. Jim is a member in good standing with The Canadian Association of Police Polygraphist’s and the American Polygraph Association.
